the undersigned, neighbors and friends in the counties of Vegas Altas and Serena, we turn to you to express our deep concern about reports offered by different media, about the imminence of NEW SURVEY WORKS IN URANIUM HOLDINGS in the area.
Through this, we ask, given the important social concern that these reports are causing that
(1) urge the relevant government and regional authorities and the concessionaire of this work to immediately provide all information regarding the nature, scope, procedures and objectives of such prospecting,
(2) seek, from specialized institutions and independent experts, an in depth assessment of the consequences that these jobs can bring in all aspects (environmental, human health, for other economic activities ...),
(3) move to all concerned citizens, the way it considers most appropriate, all this information.
